A Belgian company

JAVA can look back on more than 85 years of tradition and experience. Originally, this Belgian company had the sale of colonial products as its main activity. Soon the company's activities were changed to the production and sale of coffee. Over the years, this activity was extended to include the distribution of foodstuffs for mass catering and organisations.

Nowadays, JAVA is one of the largest food service companies in Belgium with a wide range and an extensive service.

• 57 employees in 1990 - 279 in 2010 (= a four-fold increase in staff) 
• 50 multi-temperature, self-managed trucks fitted with GPS, onboard computers with loading ramp registration and insulated transport box and real time communication with dispatching department 
• warehouse with the latest technology - voice picking, etc. 
• own coffee roasting plant 
• continuous follow-up of the wide product range 
• food safety as a priority (HACCP, ISO 22000)
